A report produced by Security experts at CPP, a life assistance company, reveals that UK is exposed to poor WiFi ISP Security and has potential dangers of illegal P2P abuse. The company undertook an ethical hacking experiment in six different cities in UK. The result of the experiment revealed that over 40, 000 home using Wi-Fi networks lack enough protection. Moreover, a majority of them didn’t even have a password. And these home systems can be hacked within a few seconds, thereby posing great threats.
This is quite a reason to worry because it makes it clear that a large number of homes with wireless network have unknowlingly rendered their boadband connections to probable misuse at the hands of hackers.
