Some years ago, LG Appliances brought in the revolutionary Internet Refrigerator. This new idea of combining a refrigerator with a PC didn’t work well with consumers and it was soon taken back. However, now the Internet Refrigerator is back with a bang.

Whirlpool, a popular home appliance company, is bringing in its new GD5VVAXT Refrigerator. This new refrigerator will be launched at CES 2009 in Las Vegas . Designed to allow the users to hang a laptop, iPod dock or a digital photo frame, this new refrigerator is truly an innovation.

According to Whirlpool, about 30% of the laptop, digital photo frame and digital music player owners use these devices in kitchen, so why not give them a fridge with a place to hang such devices in kitchen? This refrigerator from Whirlpool saves the counter space in kitchen.

Whirlpool’s GD5VVAXT comes with a left panel door that has a place meant for hanging digital device with ease. It comes with Clio Vu convertible tablet computer that saves your refrigerator from those sticky notes. It comes equipped with Wi-Fi and the laptop can be easily removed from its module and can be used as a traditional notebook.
