Amtrak is finally all set to implement free Wi-Fi on some regional trains in the Northeast region. For those of you who don’t know, Amtrak is providing the same service to the Northwest regional trains.
After seeing that the final bet has been laid down by different plane and bus companies in the last few years, Amtrak is extending the Wi-Fi service. It indulged in the conversations between conductors and passengers before agreeing for this new service in northeast regional trains.

The latest news from the Wi-Fi world is that Nintendo has recently opened 5,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots across the pond. This initiative was taken to connect your 3DS to The Cloud with ease.
With Sky’s declaration of buying the Cloud Wifi network hotspot, O2, the UK mobile operator has also announced its plans of having Wifi of its own. The operator, which had earlier worked with the Cloud to make its broadband network congestion free from iPhone pressure, has huge plans to get into Wifi.
In a new move to attract fliers, some airlines are offering free WiFi connect for the coming holiday month. Fliers who would like to surf during their flight can now do so in selected airlines that are planning to offer its passengers the free WiFi connection as a holiday gift. The move by the carriers and the Internet providers is aimed at luring fliers to pay for WiFi in their later flights.
