Having spent quite some time with this wondrous wi-fi-card, I can simply say it is just amazing! Though it was introduced in July, I am sure it must have found huge number of takers from then. A known brand trotted out Eye-Fi Explore to support geotagging i.e. integrating longitude and latitude into photo metadata. It also supports faster and easier uploading of images.

It is a secure digital card boasting 2GB memory, a small computer and a wi-fi radio. Bearing best of technology, Explore apparently supports Skyhook wireless’s wi-Fi positioning data allied with Wayport’s network covering 10,000 hotspots including McDonalds, over and above to updated software and firmware for easy uploading of pictures.

Three versions of the Eye-fi Explore are available in the market-Eye-Fi Home, Eye-Fi share and the Explore. The home version could upload images only to a certain computer over a local network. It would cost you around 80$.Although the Eye-Fi share can upload to computer or photo-sharing services or even to both of them. It actually finds semblance to the previous version released last year.

It is available for $100.The best part of the latest Eye-Fi explore is its ability to upload many pictures without exhausting your battery too much.
