Novatel has come up with a new MiFi card that lets users to create mobile Wi-Fi hotspots that can tap into the Internet via 3G mobile networks. Designed to create its own ad-hoc Wi-Fi hotspots, this MiFi card can route traffic for that hotspot to EV-DO Rev.

Using this amazing MiFi device you can get access to mobile broadband connectivity even from a moving vehicle. Not just this, it lets you connect with your Wi-Fi capable cameras, computers, game consoles and media players.

According to Novatel Wireless CEO Peter Leparulo, this MiFi device is the starting of a new category of mobile broadband solutions. It features an internal battery that provides up to four hours of active use and up to forty hours on standby mode.

The innovation with which Novatel Wireless has designed this easy to set up MiFi device is appreciable as it can be set up with just a single click without any additional drivers or host applications.

The new MiFi card from the house of Novatel will be out in the market in the first half of 2009.
