With technology evolving, staying connected has become increasingly convenient. However, the risk of someone getting access to your personal details has also grown proportionately. Wi-Fi is a great technology, as it enables us to access the internet anytime and anywhere. Be it at an airport, a restaurant or a shopping mall, we are always connected. However, this easy access also prompts hackers to get into action and they try to steal personal information from you. In the USA alone, there are 68,000 such spots which are highly susceptible to hackers and cyber crime.

Wi-Fi and 3G enabled iPad

So, finally we have Apple’s latest 3G enabled iPad Wi-Fi. It is undoubtedly Apple’s one of the most awaited products and an upgradation of the previous iPad which was Wi-Fi only. It has been almost a month that I have been using the Wi-Fi only version, so let us see how special this new version is.

On the exterior it doesn’t look much different from the earlier Wi-Fi only version. The control panel is similar and the screen is almost identical. Although it is a little heavier in relation to the Wi-Fi only model, you don’t feel much of a difference in weight. There are two prominent differentiators between the two. The first one is a 4.5 inch plastic strip that covers the top and the second distinct difference is the port for a micro-SIM card.
