AirPower series chargers

The AirPower series chargers which are expected to be launched by the RCA very soon would enable the users to charge their various gadgets with the help of WiFi signals. These gadgets include low-power portable like cellphones, digital camera, MP3 player and pocket camcorder. The battery pack with WiFi power can be treated as the emergency power supply backup for your gadgets.

The soon to be launched product will not require a USB port or a socket to get charged. In fact, it will use the thin air to draw power by converting it into current that has enough power to initiate the charge of your internal battery. The technology that has been used in this product means that users would not require plugging in their device. This, however, means that the charging may be a little time consuming as it has low powered WiFi signals.

According to the sources within the company the internal battery gets fully charged if it has exposure to six continuous hours of strong WiFi signals. The news of this latest technology followed the prediction of Nokia who is hoping to make a similar product which would be embedded in the cellular handsets, though it may take some time.

The AirPower is the very first device of its kind and is expected to create quite a stir when it finally makes an entry in the market. The company so far has not given any information on its likely price. It is set to be released in the US towards the end of this year.

I agree, a great phone. There is an update to the operating system on this phone. Android 2.1 is available free. I think you need to check with your Network for a download.
