att-wayport-to-add-more-wifi Latest in the Wi-Fi world is that, AT&T is geared up to enhance Wi-Fi with Wayport. Recently, AR&T informed that it is going to buy Wayport, a Wi-Fi provider to expand the fortune of AT&T owned hotspots.

According to AT&T, this purchasing of Wayport has been done in order to give its customers an increased access in connectivity, take for instance, the recently re-launched iPhone Wi-Fi feature and other similar features.

AT&T is also hoping to get an approval for the acquisition as early as possible. This world-renowned company already has 20,000 access points within the US including McDonald’s restaurants, Marriott Vacation Club and Four Seasons. With this snapping up of Wayport, it intends to increase its foray.

I agree, a great phone. There is an update to the operating system on this phone. Android 2.1 is available free. I think you need to check with your Network for a download.
