LG has just presented their latest WiFi “monster” – the LG Mini GD880 smartphone. The phone was announced back in February and it would be available later this month.

According to the manufacturing, the phone has rather impressive tech specs. It comes with a new HTML 5 compatible browser (actually, it is the first HTML 5-compatible phone on the market), a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, a 5 MP camera, WiFi, A-GPS and FM radio.

The GD880 promises to be the first phone to pack LG’s Air Sync. The rest of the specs is rather standard, so as to me everything depends on the price now. Unfortunately, there are no details on pricing yet, but if the manufacturer won’t make this phone very expensive LG can be one of the hottest mobile phones of this spring.

I agree, a great phone. There is an update to the operating system on this phone. Android 2.1 is available free. I think you need to check with your Network for a download.
